Biography

Western Pennsylvania Native

BA Arts and Communications:  Carlow University, Pittsburgh PA

With additional studies at Indiana University of PA, Community College of Allegheny County, Sweetwater Center for the Arts in Sewickley PA and with artist Elisabeth Poiret in Southwestern France.  The sessions with Elisabeth encouraged freedom of expression and working with mixed media.

Artistic Statement:

I love art…I love the creative process.  My work reflects a personal observation of life with images that touch me, although sometimes the art takes on a life of it’s own.  I draw on lessons learned from mentors while striving to stay true to my own style, continually learning and evolving, using various media and texture whenever possible.
